Pricing
Pay for the seconds you use.
Nothing is for sale yet, and no prices are published. This page says how pricing will work so you can judge the model before the beta.
How will Waddle pricing work?
- A free tier that is small and hard-capped, so a mistake cannot become a bill.
- Usage-based paid use, metered from the first run, with caps you set.
- A target for a typical small run of under one cent of compute. That target is derived from platform costs, not a published price, and will be re-checked against real billing before any number is shown here.
What is metered?
| Unit | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Compute time | How long your run held a machine, in seconds, multiplied by its size. A run that is idle or scaled to zero costs nothing. |
| Rows | Rows read from the source and written to the sink, counted per run. |
| Storage | Only if you keep state or staging files with us; your sink stays in your own storage. |
What are the limits?
- One machine per run. The target is up to about 10 GB per run.
- A run that would pass its cap is refused before it starts; running work is not killed mid-way and usage is shown as you approach a limit.
- Payments will go through a hosted payment provider. Plans and prices will be announced when the beta opens.
